Week 10: 11/5 - 11/9th
Are you ready to start your business? Let's make it happen!
Now the rubber hits the road. Now our journey begins to put together your realistic & sustainable business. This business must be REAL, not something you made up. "My business is to make and sell hover boards for dogs." That's not realistic. It needs to be a business you can run from the classroom. Using the resources in the building, and in the classroom.
With that said, you will be building your business on your own. Today we start to build your plan, that will be put into action, and sustained through the rest of the year. Your approach to this MUST BE PROFESSIONAL, remember who your target market is.
See the document below. This process has 11 projects, plus some final touches at the end. Keep in mind, as you're going through this, your plan is going to be put into action for the school, peers, teachers, and administration to see. Each project needs to keep that in mind. As we implement your business, the revenue will be put back into the Build A Business CTE Program and into your pockets! And yes, we will be keep track of each business, who is making the most money, and we will help each other as we build our businesses. As we go along, let me know of any resources you need, We will have limited start up funds so try to take advantage of resources we already have as much as possible.
We need to finish this project and know it like the back of your hand, before we pitch to the bank/banks.
